Max L.G. Maurice is a licensed clinical social worker and seasoned mental health professional with more than 16 years of experience serving children and families in Washington, DC. His clinical work has focused extensively on supporting K–12 students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) through structured mental health interventions and school-based protocols. He has also operated a private practice providing therapeutic services to individuals across a range of clinical diagnoses, demonstrating both depth of expertise and sustained leadership in behavioral health.
Born in Trinidad and Tobago and raised in Brooklyn and Florida, Max’s professional journey reflects resilience, discipline, and a lifelong commitment to inquiry and service. He holds a BS in Microbiology with a minor in Psychology from Howard University and a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health Care. He is currently a PhD candidate in Social Work at Clark Atlanta University.
